PARASPORT EQUIPMENT & CLUB GRANT DEADLINE
Active or Affiliate members of Sask Sport Inc. are eligible to apply for support, but in addition, member organizations may partner with local or community organizations/clubs to further develop capacity for Parasport programming in the province. The Parasport grants are funded through the Sport Section of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund. There are two types of grants available.

  • The Parasport Club Development Grant provides financial assistance to support "new" developmental programs in communities, or the expansion of existing sport programs for persons with a disability (such as new age groups, a new gender, or a new sport within an existing club setting). Funds can be used to offset regular costs related to program delivery, such as facility rental, coaching development, officiating, travel assistance, etc.

  • The Parasport Equipment Grant provides financial assistance to assist the purchase of adapted equipment for people with a disability to participate in organized sport programs. The cost of specialized (adapted) equipment for athletes with a disability is a significant barrier to their participation.

Clubs must submit applications to PSGB's and Districts by March 22nd and/or September 22nd annually. PSGB deadlines to submit applications to Sask Sport are April 1st and October 1st annually.
