NEW LOTTERY AGREEMENT SIGNED
A new five-year lottery agreement was signed on October 23rd by the Minister for Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport and representatives of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation.

PETE ANDREWS NAMED SASK SPORT INC. SEPTEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
At the 2009 IWSF Disabled World Water Ski Championships held in Vichy, France, Andrews won Canada's first ever gold medal in the men's jump event. He also increased his slalom speed to 43-46 km. There were 18 countries and over 60 competitors at this event.

TRUE SPORT COMMUNITY FUND
The True Sport Foundation is now accepting applications for the True Sport Community Fund. Grants in the amount of $5,000 or $25,000 are available in support of sport programs that create access, and promote inclusion for children and youth from Aboriginal, low- income, and new Canadian families.
