Congratulations to David Millar of Regina on receiving the Saskatchewan Order of Merit. A long-time sport volunteer, Millar served on the Sask Sport Inc. Board of Directors from 1998 to 2001 and was the Vice President of Saskatchewan Lotteries in 1999-2000. He served on several committees including Audit and Lottery and was the Sask Sport Inc. representative on the Sport Science and Medicine Council of Saskatchewan. He remains active on the Awards and Recognition Committee.
In addition to his volunteerism at Sask Sport Inc., Millar was president of the Saskatchewan Rowing Association and served on the boards of the Canadian Rowing Association board and Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association. He has also been a team manager for hockey and soccer.
