The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program is committed to increasing the number of qualified Aboriginal coaches and officials in Saskatchewan. Coaches and Officials provide the foundation of the volunteer amateur sport system. The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program is helping to create and enhance a dynamic, leading edge sport environment that enables Aboriginal people to experience and enjoy sport.

The program consists of: The Introduction to Coaching Workshop, Aboriginal Coaching Modules, Introduction to Competition: Part A, NCCP Sport Specific Clinics and ACOACH.

The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program aims to foster leadership development for the continued growth of Aboriginal people’s participation in sport and introduce youth to sport in a fair, ethical and safe manner. Aboriginal coaches and officials demonstrate leadership and dedication in preparing young people to succeed in sport and become community leaders.
