Parent Help Line offers parents and caregivers access to information, support and referral 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Itís anonymous, bilingual and free from anywhere in Canada. The service, operated and managed by Kids Help Phone, helps parents and caregivers enhance their coping and parenting skills by providing them professional counselling and referral services over the phone.

Speak Out! Program
In February 1997, Hockey Canada established what is now known as the Speak Out Committee. Using input from parent focus groups, the expertise of leaders in this field, and a review of research and literature, the committee developed a three year plan focused on preventing harassment and abuse in Hockey Canada.
Speak Out! Brochure (for ages 14-20)
This pamphlet defines abuse and harassment and encourages players to Speak Out! Due to the age of the target audience, the brochure also provides more detail and encourages youth to support their peers on these issues. Information on contacting Kids Help Phone is included.
