Sask Sport Inc - Dream Broker, Prince Albert
Closing Date: July 28, 2014
The Dream Broker program is a partnership between the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division, Prince Albert Catholic School Division, Sask Sport, SaskCulture and the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association. Additional support is provided by the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund, Community Initiatives Fund, KidSport, Creative Kids and Give Kids a Chance Charity. The purpose of a Dream Broker is to facilitate and support the participation of inner city children in sport, culture, recreation and arts activities by:

  • Developing supportive, trusting relationships with children, parents, school staff and community service providers to identify and meet needs of children;
  • Facilitating and providing support centered around the needs and wants of children to enable and sustain participation in activities of choice;
  • Promoting and supporting the initiative's purpose, goals and objectives through community engagement.

Youth Development Coordinator - Special Olympics Saskatchewan

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for developing sport programs for young athletes with an intellectual disability in school and/or community settings. The implementation of grassroots programs will achieve Special Olympics Saskatchewan's strategic goals to increase athlete recruitment and retention and to increase new volunteers and family involvement. This position will utilize the Special Olympics Canada Active Start resources for children ages 2 to 6 years and the FUNdamentals resources for children 7 to 12 years.

Facility Staff Manager - Regina Soccer Association (RSA)

The Regina Soccer Association (RSA) is the governing body of soccer in Regina and exists as a Member Organization under the umbrella of the Saskatchewan Soccer Association and Canadian Soccer Association. The RSA vision is “To be a dynamic and innovative organization, enriching lives through the development of strong relationships and the delivery of soccer programs and services of the highest quality.” The RSA currently operates the Credit Union Event Plex and staffs both Leibel field and Mosaic Stadium when soccer events are happening there in the Summer.

The person in this position will be responsible for operating bindery and high speed photocopying equipment as well as assisting with mail service as required. This person will also be responsible for maintaining the quality and quantity standards that are set for this area as well as having the ability to be flexible in assisting where ever required in the post printing process.

Let's Play Racquetball Coach - Saskatchewan Racquetball Association
Racquetball is a fast paced sport that requires minimal equipment to play and that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Due to its high level of accessibility ,the Play Racquetball Program has a broad target audience with a goal of introducing as many people as possible to the sport. The Saskatchewan Racquetball Association seeks a racquetball coach in your area of Saskatchewan. Training for the coach will be provided.
